These candles are made using Hoo Doo, an African based folk magic. Hoo Doo is a very practical and root based magic that digs deep into our own core self. The results are fast, profound and healing. Each candle has a unique spell for you to start from, but adding your own words to make them personal is encouraged.

Once you light your candle, the intention will be set to work with universal power and energy for your highest good.

These 2×4 pillar candles burn for 40 hours. Remove all packaging before lighting and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Lucky 7 – Draw on the lucky power of 7 to increase your luck and bring good fortune. With a pin or nail write your name 7 times in a spiral around the candle. Rub your hands on the candle from the bottom up and light the candle every day for 7 days. On the 7th day let the candle burn down all the way. You can carry the leftover wax for luck.

Money Draw – You deserve it and there is plenty to go around! With a safety pin inscribe your name on the side of the candle and 9 dollar signs ($) around your name. Write your wishes on a piece of paper and place it under the candleholder. Light your candle every day until done. Then pin the paper with your wishes on the inside of your wallet.

Van Van – Van Van is a traditional Hoo Doo, all-purpose recipe that brings a positive change in your luck. Clears away evil, opens your path to new opportunities, protects from negative magic, reverses the effect of Mercury retrograde, and brings out the truth of the situation. Light this candle anytime you feel stuffiness to your energy or need a positive change to your luck.

Spiritual Cleansing – Clear off old energies, overwhelming emotions, and free yourself from hangers-on. Light this candle anytime you feel the need. You can clear your home by walking this candle from room to room. Increase the potency of a spiritual bath with its light. If it is safe, light the candle close to your main entrance and allow it to burn for as long as possible.

Light the candle every day until it is done.

Uncrossing – Remove the negative influences of others and your own self-defeating thoughts. Basically, get out of your own way to allow all the good things to happen! Write your name on a piece of paper and place it under the candleholder. Before lighting the candle, pass it over your head body and under your feet. Whisper your name and your troubles to the candle. Light it and burn it every day until it is done.

Reversing – Turn the energy of evil intent back on its source. If the perpetrator is known, inscribe their name on the candle. If the origination is unknown, inscribe “All harmful energy, thoughts, deeds, and wishes return to their source!” Burn the candle down completely.
